The Call Of Christ by Jackie English (Nov 14th, 2021)

Our Three Defining Values

Values

  1. Our Mission: To live faithfully as disciples of Jesus Christ, and lead others to do the same, in obedience to the commands of Jesus in John 13:34-35 and Matthew 28:19-20
  2. Our Vision: To follow the Way laid out in Acts 2:42-47, living as His body and revealing Christ on the Earth
  3. Our Strategy: To engage the world with a faith-driven mentality, based on the promise of Ephesians 3:14-20; the exhortation of Hebrews 3:13 and 10:23-25; and the priority of Galatians 5:6

A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another."

Matthew 28:19-20 NASBS

Acts 2:42-47 NASBS
They were continually devoting themselves to the apostles' teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone kept feeling a sense of awe; and many wonders and signs were taking place through the apostles. Day by day continuing with one mind in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they were taking their meals together with gladness and sincerity of heart, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord was adding to their number day by day those who were being saved.

Ephesians 3:14-20 NASBS
For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner man, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God. Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us,

Hebrews 3:13 NASBS
But encourage one another day after day, as long as it is still called "Today," so that none of you will be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin.

Hebrews 10:23-25 NASBS
Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful; and let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near.

Galatians 5:6 NASBS
For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything, but faith working through love.
