Haiti Share Update.

HAITI SHARE from dependency to leadership by the grace of God _____________________________________________________________________________________________ May 31, 2015 Six new members to go to school this fall Three of our team members will be graduating soon, and we are starting fresh with several new members: four in universities and two in trade school. Raymond (director of Haitian operations) is teaching a leadership class for them each Thursday afternoon. Website – a brand new look During the last couple of months I have spent considerable time and thought on redesigning our website so it will lead visitors more quickly to the heart of our vision. • Front and center on our new homepage is information about our core strategy for fulfilling our mission, namely our young adult sponsorship program (school support and leadership training.) • The community services we offer are next on the homepage, with easy access to information about these programs. • Third is a listing of upcoing and recent events. I hope that you will check out our new website and that you will share it with your friends. Trip to Haiti I am making a short trip to Haiti: leaving Monday, June 1 and returning Tuesday, June 9. My agenda includes mentoring team members, a visit to one of the universities where our members will attend this fall, and teaching the following three classes: • Tips for Success in School (in the Thursday class for new members) • How to use the Internet to learn English (seminar for anyone in the community who is interested) • The Entrepreneurial Woman in Proverbs 31 (at the Sunday night service in the nearby church) Thank you for all your support, and may God bless you. ____________________________________________________________ Betty Jean Harmsen P.O.
