Jackie English has been a local pastor in the Highland Lakes area since 1977, and became founding Pastor of Christ Redeemer Fellowship in Granite Shoals in 1998. During that time, he has also served as a founding board member of the Highland Lakes Family Crisis Center and the Helping Center, as well as a founding board member of Highland Lakes Crisis Network, a network of local churches dedicated to helping the community it times of crisis or disaster.

He also worked with the Texas Legislature for 5 years on the staff of the Texas Conservative Coalition and worked with corporate business leaders for almost 15 years as the Director of Instructional Design for Baker Communications, a global corporate training company in Houston. His passion is to see churches rediscover the full meaning of being the Body of Christ and begin to manifest the life and love of Jesus Christ on the earth. He and his wife, Peggy, have 3 adult children and 6 grandchildren.
