Yesterday one of the members of my advisory board and his wife were killed in a head on collision. Ty and Terri were doing God's work in Omaha, and I am still having trouble processing this event. Ty was such a good friend to our family.
I can't help but ask you to redouble your prayers for our team, the other workers, and all the children they will be teaching this coming week, as well as the adults who come to their evangelism services in the evenings - please pray for safety and spiritual fruit. The team already left today for Saint Louis du Sud, the town where the camp will be held, in order to have time to meet the local teachers and train them in the curriculum before camp starts on Monday. They will return Saturday. I'll let you know how things went.
Life is short, and as has been said, "only what's done for Christ will last." Somehow, that is taking on a lot more meaning right now.
Your prayers mean so much to us. Thank you.
